During James Stuart's and Kim Novak's over one-minute long kiss in Alfred Hitchcock's film
Vertigo,
the camera executes a 360' arc travelling shot around them. In this installation, the
camera's circular
movement is synchronised with the rotation of the video projectors, which are placed on a
rotating mechanism.
Thus, the same cinematographic situation is continuously projected onto the same part of
the wall of the exhibition space.
